Anton Shkaruba specializes in adaptive governance, land-use policy and biodiversity conservation, with a strong record of linking science, policy and local communities. He has served as Lead Author for IPBES, contributed to EU and UN projects on sustainability transitions across Europe and beyond, and advanced capacity building through doctoral schools, training programs and microcredential development across Eurasia.
