Chair of Rural Economy and Economics
Throughout its history, the Chair has experienced changes both in society and in the organization of education. At the same time, the Estonian University of Life Sciences has undergone several internal reforms. Regardless of external influences, the primary objective of the Chair has always been to train financial and management specialists with modern expertise for rural economy enterprises.
The Chair’s research and development activities focus on studying various economic issues in both agriculture and rural life.
Research
The Chair of Rural Economy and Economics focuses its research on bio-circular economy, cooperative activities, agricultural economics and supply chains, development plans in rural economy, financial management of rural enterprises, and rural entrepreneurship.
