Plant extracts and biomass wastes: characterization and applications.

The seminar is organized within the Erasmus student exchange programme. The seminar presentation address all students, researchers and faculty members who are interested in novel methodologies for analysis of biological extractives, and contemporary trends in the use of plant biomass, agrowastes and circular economy.

Prof. Dana Copolovici  has a PhD in chemistry (2007, Babes-Bolyai University, Cluj-Napoca, Rumeenia), and has worked  researches and senior researcher at the University of Tartu (2008-2012). Since 2013 she has been working at Aurel Vlaicu University Arad, Romania. She has developed a series of unique methods for plant extract analysis and effective use of agricultural wastes.
