Landscape Protection and Preservation

Upon successful completion of Bachelor curriculum, the student shall have:
• Basic knowledge and understanding of the influence of natural processes and human activity on biodiversity, landscapes and the human environment, the use of landscape and natural resources, landscape and spatial planning, landscape architecture, environment management, nature  conservation and the status of the environment;
• Competence to work in a position which requires the qualifications of an environmental protection specialist or landscape architect in the areas of environment management under the supervision of a leading specialist;
• Basic knowledge to continue studies in the fields of environmental protection and landscape architecture at the Master's level.

Upon successful completion of Master curriculum, the student shall have:
• Have in-depth knowledge and understanding of the influence of natural processes and human activity on the biodiversity, landscapes and human environment, including use of landscape and natural resources, landscape and spatial planning, environment management and its basic measures, nature
conservation, status of the environment in Estonia as well as on international level;
• Competence to work in a position which requires the qualifications of an environmental protection specialist in the areas of environment management, spatial planning, landscape protection and preservation, and nature conservation;
• Basic competence and knowledge for continuing studies at the Doctoral level.
