The Laboratory of Bio- and Environmental Chemistry (Bio- ja Keskkonnakeemia Labor) is operated by the Unit of Bioconversion of Crops and Wastes, an interdisciplinary R&D team associating scientists and personnel from the Institute of Agricultural and Environmental Sciences, the Institute of Technology and the Institute of Veterinary Medicine and Animal Sciences.
The main capabilities of the laboratory include:

- Metals and metalloids (Atomic Absorption)
