Project BlueHealth: Presentation and demonstration of innovative tools for evaluating urban blue spaces

The Chair of Landscape Architecture invites everyone to an innovation SLAM in order to learn about and test a set of tools specially developed to evaluate the success of urban blue spaces – including virtual blue space. The tools form part of BlueHealth -  a EU wide research project (2016-2020) to clarify how urban areas characterised by inland waterways and coastal margins can enhance health promotion and disease prevention, including new possibilities for improving the way they are planned and designed within urban areas.

Aimed at professional urban planners, landscape architects, architects, urban ecologists and public health specialists, two events are taking place:

December 6th in Tallinn at the Erinevate Tubade Klubi, Telliskivi 60-A1-65, from 10.00-12.00

December 13th in Tartu at the SparkDemo, Narva mnt 3; from 10.00-13.00

Following a short introductory presentation, the tools will be demonstrated in a World Café session where you can try out the tools for yourself and, importantly for us, provide feedback.

The events include refreshments and and lunch.
